The only way to prevent this inhumane trade in baby turtles is to get the word out! These innocent, helpless, little, creatures are being breed in abnormally large numbers. They are bred in the southern Gulf States, in the US, which is their natural habitat. They are then sold and shipped all over the world to the pet trade (pet shops) were they are sold as pets, to die a horrible, premature, death. They are even shipped alive through the mails after being sold through the Internet! They are not in the same class as fish, they are thinking, loving, little, animals.
